What do you want this person to do?
We seek not “just” a Rector, but the “right” Rector for Holy Family Episcopal Church. In our minds, that person will be:
• A Rector who emphasizes spreading the Good News of Christ into our community and growing our church family;
• A homilist who inspires us and expands our spiritual knowledge and understanding;
• A clergyman or woman with sacramental integrity, who respects the traditions and values of the Episcopal Church and Holy Family, yet is willing to respond to our desire for diversity and adding a service of contemporary worship;
• A true friend who is with us in times of great loss, great joy, and great need;
• A leader who is approachable, calming, sup- portive, and who listens, offers guidance, and appreciates and includes children and youth;
• A shepherd who allows parishioners to be both holy and human, who encourages lay participa- tion, who is accessible, and who values personal relationships; and
• An individual who will lead us in accomplishing our shared vision for the future centering on the three goals in “Our Future.”

Our shared vision for the future of Holy Family centers on three goals:

We seek concrete programs that can make life better for others, and allow us to truly live our mission. We believe that by growing lay leadership opportunities and training, we can support our Rector in making Holy Family Episcopal Church a haven and home for generations to come.

1 We want to grow Holy Family by strengthening and increasing outreach to neighbors and the community. We want to uncover hidden opportunities for service.
2 We want to continue our creative programming emphasizing children and youth, growing the future of Holy Family and the world by guiding tomorrow’s
leaders in ways of faith.
3 We want to continue on our faith journey by deepening our individual and collective spirituality and commitment to Christ and the church. We want to grow as welcoming
Christians, inviting others to join us for Eucharist, social events, educational programming, and support in times of need, grief or crisis. We see our future as a more diverse congregation, with financial stability – vibrant, energetic, exciting and holy.
