Saint Anne’s embraces a spirit of collaboration. The new Priest in Partnership will join our clergy team of an associate priest, two priests in residence and an Episcopal nun in residence, as well as many strong lay leaders. It is expected that the Clergy Partner will maintain this strong tradition of working together and will lead Saint Anne’s forward in implementation of our recently-completed Five Year Plan.

Typical expectations include the following:
Sunday services (Saint Anne’s hosts two services each Sunday8:30 and 10:30a.m.) and all Feast Day services (Ash Wednesday, Easter, Christmas)
●All Parish meetings (three per year ,January, May and October)
●Weekly (staff) and monthly (Vestry, Worship Commission, leadership of partner congregation) meetings for the purpose of planning and communication
●Regular office hours to maintain the administration of Saint Anne’s and to meet the spiritual needs of its members

Position Status: Halftime-20 hours per week

Participatory Leadership Responsibilities:
●With the Vestry, participate in strategic planning to carry out and clarify the Parish’s goals and strategies.
●With the Vestry, develop and oversee training and support for volunteer leaders and volunteers in the activities of the Parish.
●With the Worship Committee, participate in planning and conduct of public worship, including oversight of the larger Clergy Team in creating opportunities for preaching.
●Preside and preach at both Sunday services (8:30 and 10:30 a.m.) at least two Sundays per month and some Feast Days. Coordinate the presiding and preaching of additional services with Priest Associate, Deacon (when assigned), and resident religious.
●With the Pastoral Care Committee, coordinate and oversee pastoral care and spiritual welfare for members of the Parish.
●With the Vestry and appropriate Parish consultation, hire and supervise Parish staff: Priest Associate, Deacon (when present), Music Director, Parish Administrator, and Sexton
●With the Christian Formation Committee, develop and oversee a program of Christian education for adults.
●With the Peace and Justice Committee, oversee a program of service and be an advocate and leader for justice.
●Be an active leader for membership growth, in welcoming, and in stewardship.
●At all times be an active cheerleader and encourager of the Parish vision and goals and the implementation of the same.

Secondary Responsibilities:
●Advise the Vestry and appropriate Committees as requested on oversight, maintenance, and improvement of Parish property.
●Advise the Vestry and appropriate Committees as requested on financial management and planning for the Parish, including preparation and adherence to the annual budget.
●Advise Priest Associate and assist as necessary in program of Christian formation for Pre-K through High School.
●Advise and support priest-in-residence responsible for Celtic Worship service.
●Work with the Parish Administrator to ensure the orderly and timely maintenance of official Parish records, financial, pastoral, those required by the Diocese, and others.
●Work with the Parish Administrator and others in maintaining year-round communication with the Parish.
