The Parish Administrator assists the Rector, other staff, and Vestry members. This individual must be detail oriented, organized, energetic, dependable, computer literate, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information. Responsibilities include creating church bulletins and general office management support. This position supports the Rector directly and is often one of the first persons to engage the public on behalf of the church, along with being a key point of contact for parishioners seeking help and connection with the Rector, Vestry and staff. General office skills are required, previous office administrative experience and a sense of a call to Christian service, being committed to the church’s mission and the Gospel is preferred.
