The Chapel of the Cross seeks to build upon the current ministry with middle and high school students and to create a robust youth and family ministry program that engages parents and non-parent parishioners, and engages with the regional and diocesan youth programs.
 Design and implement a youth confirmation program
 Coordinate and facilitate Sunday education program for 6-12th grades
 Coordinate and facilitate Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) for middle and high school students
 Recruit and train program volunteers
 Prepare and manage annual youth budget
 Engage in the life of youth beyond the Sunday experience
 Plan events for parents of youth
 Welcome 5th graders into the program; connect seniors with a next-step faith placement
 Recruit and train youth acolytes
 Work collaboratively to engage youth and families in regular service opportunities
 Plan and supervise mission trips for middle and high school students

Chapel of the Cross is seeking a full-time youth and family minister. The search is being conducted by the rector; both lay and ordained applicants are being considered.
