|The Ryals Minister for Families serves as the staff member responsible for all children’s and youth programs and provides support for those ministries that engage and strengthen families of all types. We see Christian formation as a lifelong process, and our Minister for Families will be someone with an integrated and creative approach to ministry that connects people of all generations and life situations.
The Ryals Minister for Families will work to facilitate and strengthen our ministries with children, youth, and families, in collaboration with catechists, youth leaders, volunteers, and staff. This position is full time including Sundays and occasional evenings and reports to the Associate Rector, under the ultimate authority of the Rector.
The Ryals Minister for Families will oversee all programming pertaining to the children and youth of St. Philip’s, and will work in conjunction with the Associate Rector to strengthen our intergenerational and family ministry offerings. The foundation of our ministry is worship, love and action, and our Minister for Families will build upon this foundation through program offerings and support.
