For that to be achieved, our congregants need to articulate their faith and our churches need to adapt to the needs of their social and secular environments. The Diocesan Missioner for Evangelism and Community
Engagement position exists to support our parishes in embodying that commitment and helping the Episcopal church engage a changing world with our enduring tradition.

The Missioner for Evangelism and Community Engagement will serve as a member of the bishop’s staff, reporting to the Canon for Congregational Vitality. Primary responsibilities are to assist emerging evangelism initiatives, help parishes learn to engage their neighborhood communities, support young adult ministries throughout the diocese, oversee campus ministers, and share in the Sunday parish visitation schedule of the bishop’s staff.
