Position Summary:
The Director of Ministry is a lay professional who oversees educational and small group ministries at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of St. Matthew’s educational programs spanning the 10 decades of life.
Oversee, train, and support lay ministry leaders for small group ministries.
Supervise and train staff affiliated with the Ministry department.
Provide pastoral care to families with children, and lay ministry leaders.
Oversee the Sunday liturgies for children, and work with the Children’s committee to provide excellent children’s ministry offerings.
Coordinate the Dimensions of Faith program.
Participate in lower level planning efforts.
