Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations – Trinity School for Ministry (TSM), Ambridge PA, is seeking to hire a Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations. FT w/benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, HRA, pension, and life and AD & D insurance. M-F 8:30AM – 5:00PM with occasional evening and weekend hours. Light travel. Duties include: planning, developing, and implementing TSM’s external and internal marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities; managing the department’s staff and supervising the TSM’s Bookstore manager and staff; overseeing the creation and distribution of print, web, social media, and video communications enhancing TSM’s image within the Anglican/Episcopal Church, global theological market, and general public; monitor trends in marketing, theological education, and publishing; aid in accomplishing Advancement Department objectives; oversee TSM’s Whitchurch Publishing; act as lead project manager for all departmental projects; ability to delegate tasks appropriately within the department; recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, and develop qualified paid and volunteer personnel; administer the department’s annual operating budget; write a wide variety of pieces such as articles, letters, marketing collateral copy, web, blog, and email copy; act as community media liaison; develop news releases; oversee maintenance of TSM’s website, social media and internet presence for marketing and informational purposes. Qualifications include: ability to sign and adhere to TSM’s Statement off Faith; ability to interact with diverse constituencies; familiarity with theological education; detail oriented; ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively: ability to meet deadlines; excellent communication, written, verbal, proofreading, and editing skills; knowledge of nonprofit marketing; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Education and Experience: master’s degree preferred in related field; 3-5 years of successful work experience in communications, marketing, public relations, higher education management, or publishing; supervisory experience preferred; experience and familiarity with Anglican and/or Episcopal Church polity preferred; superior interpersonal communication skills; experience using social media as a tool for marketing.
