St. Clement’s Episcopal Church

Honolulu, HI
What do you want this person to do?
St. Clement’s, an active parish in the Makiki neighborhood of Honolulu, seeks their new Rector. The parish has a 120-student school (Pre-K and Kindergarten), a weekly famers’ market on their property, and looks to continue their pattern of vitality and growth. From their profile: “We are a parish diverse in ethnicity, age, income levels, political opinion, sexuality, gender and in other areas as well. We welcome all of God’s children and seek a priest who shares our faith, vision and ethos and who desires to live their calling and minister in this place.”

Thanks to a good and intentional interim period, St. Clement’s is healthy and ready for their next step.

A diocesan caveat:
Ordained ministry in Hawai‘i is a special call. Any location has its challenges, but serving in Hawai‘i brings an additional set of advantages and tradeoffs that must be given serious consideration.
