|We are looking for an interim Rector who will:
Work effectively as a team with the vestry and congregation.
Listen and communicate with patience when there’s conflict.
Remain impartial and strong when needed to help us resolve recent issues. Help us work towards gaining understanding and forgiveness within the church.
Provide worship leadership and guidance to help us keep the church going strong and growing as we begin our search for a long-term Rector.
Guide us with the implementation the Missional 5-year plan developed over the previous year.
Help us find ways to attract new members of all generations, young families and millennial-generation individuals to the church.
Increase our prominence in the community.
The skills and experiences we are looking for include:
A worship leader who is comfortable with a wide range of worship styles.
Someone experienced with gospel-based preaching.
Specific experience or training with interim ministry, conflict resolution and healing within a parish setting.
Leadership and managerial style consistent with the desires and vision of our parish and vestry.
Experiences with and sensitivity to individuals with diverse ethnic, cultural, economic, and political backgrounds.
Experienced with pastoral, disadvantaged, community and ecumenical outreach.
