Responsible for the human resources function of the church, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and ensuring compliance with all Safe Church Diocesan requirements. Including, but not limited to:
1)Develop personnel policies and procedures
2)Oversee all benefits (insurance, pension, Paid Time Off)
3)Administer annual performance evaluation process
4)Assist leadership in selecting necessary new employees
5)Prepare annual budget for all employee compensation and benefits
6)Supervise HR staff of 3 and other staff
7)Oversee new hire orientation procedures and employee exits
8)Assist in counseling and disciplinary situations as they arise
9)Serve on Executive Committee of Staff
Note: Church staff of approximately 170 employees; Preschool staff of approximately 50 employees
