St. James’ Church, an Episcopal parish on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, announces a full-time opening for a graduating Episcopal senior, ordained or to be ordained shortly:
• Two-year appointment, with competitive salary, housing allowance, and benefits
• Intentional mentoring and peer-group learning in a position designed for the formation of new clergy in all aspects of parish ministry
• Begin July 1, 2017

• Fellow participates in full range of ministries, including regular preaching and worship leadership
• Fellow rotates through all ministries with a balance of autonomy and supervision
• Intentional mentoring is provided by senior clergy and other staff members
• Fellow meets regularly with other newly-ordained clergy for peer support and to learn from each other’s experiences
