The Church of the Ascension in the City of New York is launching a $700,000 Capital Campaign to support building and endowment initiatives. We are seeking to engage a Capital Campaign Assistant to support the administrative needs of the effort.

Central Duties:
• Schedule donor visits
• Process and track all campaign gifts
• Produce gift acknowledgements and other donor correspondence
• Assist with prospect management and research
• Provide administrative support for all campaign meetings
• Generate regular campaign reports
• Assist with campaign events
• Support campaign leadership including Clergy, Lay Leaders, Solicitors, and Consultant

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience with ACS database highly desirable; data input and reports
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Attention to detail and prioritization
• Ability to work independently
• Desire to learn religious fundraising and capital campaign management

This is a temporary position expected to run from October 2016 through April 2017. Approximate devotion of time of 6-10 hours per week on-site 2-3 days. Hourly Wage. Please send résumé and cover letter to Campaign Co-Chair Barbara Burns at bmburns@ix.netcom.com.
